ISB’s Commitment to the Future

ISB@25 is an important milestone to celebrate and reflect on the school’s journey and the contributions of various people who built it. It is also an opportunity to look ahead and define the school’s commitment for the future.

These commitments together, express a single institutional idea: ISB will use the capabilities it has built over 25 years to create opportunity and capacity beyond its own walls. These commitments are designed to create institutional assets and public value that endure well beyond the anniversary year.

Accessibility: Scholarships

Talent should not be excluded by cost, geography or circumstance. ISB will make its education more accessible for high-potential learners who may otherwise see the school; and world-class management learning, as beyond their reach.

  • Establish the ISB25 Scholars Programme: 250 annual scholarships across PGP and PGPYL, through a mix of 100%, 50%, 30% and 25% tuition-fee waivers.
  • Use the commitment to counter the brand perception that ISB is accessible only to a narrow, privileged segment, and encourage strong candidates who might otherwise self-select out of applying.
  • Create a space for alumni, donors and partners to contribute to named scholarships and learner pathways, turning access into a shared institutional movement.

beyond the School

Capacity Building: Research and Teaching

  • As a research-led institution, ISB seeks to contribute to a stronger national research ecosystem—one that enables more scholars across India to produce rigorous and relevant management research.
  • ISB will develop the India Research Commons: a shared platform that lowers barriers to credible, contemporary management research and provides access to curated datasets, research tools, methods resources and AI-enabled platforms that can support scholars anywhere in India.
  • Launch a national faculty-development initiative for various management institutions sharing ISB’s experience in pedagogy, classroom teaching and technology-enabled learning.
